Snow Goose, Anchorage

Dave & Magaret are taking on a tour of the best places to eat (& drink) in Alaska. Tonight we went to the Snow Goose Restaurant and Sleeping Lady Brewery. Below, you see the most shocking photo that I have taken on this trip. Now you need to be sitting down. Katie ordered Halibut Olympia for dinner. That's right, you heard it here first, Katie ordered FISH for dinner. This is a first. Katie has been sampling bites of fish, here and there, but tonight she litterally jumped off the deep end. And she liked it. Enough said.

The Snow Goose also has this cool ring toss. A ring suspended on a 12 ft string from the ceiling that you swing to catch on the hook on the wall. It's pretty tricky, so Dave is demonstrating his stellar technique for Katie. Dave is on about his 25th try with no luck yet.

TA DA!!!!! In only her second attempt, Katie rings it!!! She's got skills!!!
