A Fond Farewell

All of you old enough to remember the Love Boat will remember the bartender Issac. On our cruise, we visited Crooner's Bar where we sipped "Tee Many Martoonies". We didn't have just one, lone bartender, but we shared 3 awesome bar stewards ....

Rey, from the Phillipines, his special talent was creating roses from cocktail napkins and doing magic tricks.

Christopher, also from the Phillipines, not quite as talented made us rose buds from wads of paper towels.

Victor, from the Ukrane, looks very tall in this picture since he is 6' 7". He makes excellent origami cranes with wings that flap when you pull their tails.

Give these boys a martini shaker and a little piano accompaniment and they become crazy dance machines! As you might guess we enjoyed getting to know them and we hope they enjoyed putting up with us.

The true entertainer of Crooner's is Brendan Jones. He had a great playbook of tunes featuring Billy Joel and Elton John. But even when we tried to throw him off with a Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, or ABBA request, he was up to the challenge. And as a bonus he has a delicious Australian accent. Our evening entertainment couldn't have been better.
