Got Mud???

Our Ketchikan tour consisted of mud, mud, and more mud. After a 30 minute boat ride we arrived at the Adventure Kart camp. The 12 mile route was just one pothole after the next (thinking of you, Mary Boone). And with the early morning rain, each pothole was filled with water and then churned into mud by all of the vehicles ahead of us in line. Doesn't Katie look ready????

With her game face on and the engine roaring Katie attacks each and every pothole to see how high the mud can splash into my side of the kart. Just to give you a little sense of Katie's driving, I thought I would post a few pictures as I held onto the camera for dear life.

Easy does it Katie!

Look Out!!!!

Yikes!!!

It was all worth it. Half way throught the ride we stopped at this spot to take in the fabulous surroundings and a few pictures.

As you can see, I survived Katie's driving and the muddiest tour you could take.
