If you like artichokes, Pink Martini, knitting, then read on. If you are interested in the woes of losing the last 20 lbs or working in education, then read on. If you want to know what it's like to be an empty nester or to share that nest with to two dogs, then read on. If you want to know what the theme is for Monday night dinner, when the kayaks are going out, or who was at the Y at 5am, then read on. 7-21-07 .... midnight:01

If you have no idea what the title of this post means, you are a Muggle. It is the release time for HP7 (that would be the 7th Harry Potter book "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"). The world is all a quiver in anticipation and Margaret and Katie are not immune to the fever.

With books reserved and sporting their "Hairy Otter" shirts (that Katie found in Juneau, AK) Katie & Margaret arrived at the Anchorage Barnes & Noble to get into line. Dave & I headed to the Beartooth Theatre and Brew Pub for the 10:30 showing of "Caddyshack", a cinematic tour de force. With our pitcher of beer we settled into our seats. A local radio station was there and gave Baby Ruths to everyone in attendance (if you don't know why, you need to rent the movie).

There they are ...

Katie and Margaret have their books in hand at 1 AM, Hurray!!!!!

Now they are home and ready to read, read, read!!!

One more shot girls and show us how you really feel!!!!
