Amsterdam calling

Whomever the little bird was who told Katie to call Mom, I appreciate it. Katie called from Amsterdam and the worldwind phone call went something like this:

She went up the Eiffel tower before she left Paris and looked down at the wrong time and was a bit freaked out.
She and the girls met some boys on their last night in Paris and got the boys to buy them drinks and Katie liked her first Long Island Ice Tea very much. (a mother's dream)
Then to Amsterdam where they took a boat tour. She was so tired from the night before that she kept falling asleep. Just think, we were probably on boat tours right about the same time. Freaky.

She was very moved by the tour she took of Anne Frank's house. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival is performing The Diary of Anne Frank this season and Katie has already seen it twice. So actually being there meant a lot to her.

Sorry about the small pictures but I haven't figured out how to make photos I hijack from the internet any bigger.
